After the First Viewing in early December the young stallions could report to the Second Viewing in Leeuwarden during the Stallion Inspection. There the young stallions were presented in-hand and not as used to be the case, in the cage. The KFPS has launched this pilot to try a different selection method, one that is more in tune with the breeding goal.
Sixty stallions were selected in Leeuwarden. These stallions will make an appearance in June where they will be presented under saddle during the so-called presentation days. Based on the outcome of their presentation on these days the Jury decides which stallions are referred to the Central Examination that take place later in the year.
