Magnificent presence
Peter rode a fine test on Friday, but the judges were divided and their points for Elias 494 (Jorn 430) ranged from 65.109% to 68.370%. The combination gave a strong performance, but also realised that the tempi changes could have been better. They pulled that off on Saturday with a marvellous 70.125% score in the freestyle to music to show for it!!
Enthusiastic audience
The Horse of the Year 2019 was escorted out of the ring with a tumultuous applause from the cheering public on the grandstand. Wonderful PR for the Friesian horse, but above all quite an adventure to travel all the way to Sweden – home country of Elias´s owner Linda Anell. Elias and his team left for the Gothenburg Horse show on Wednesday. On Thursday the vet check was on the programme and on Friday at around a quarter past two they made their appearance in the ring.
