Anke Oosterbaan´s Michiel 442 daughter Fardau fan Synaeda is the best of all yearling- and 2-year-old mares. On Friday the 13th of September Fardau was chosen Youngster Champion at the Central Inspection.

Feike van de Zwarte Marie Reserve Champion 2-year-olds and Reserve Youngster Champion

With her vigorous forward reach of the hind leg and great looseness of the body Fardau also became Champion in the strong category of 2-year-old mares. The well-developed Feike van de Zwarte Marie (Meinte 490) with his strong walk, owned by Antonia Derksen, was declared Reserve Champion of this category. Feike was also the runner-up in the Youngster Championship behind Fardau.

Champion Yearlings: Gerbrecht van de Marne

The yearlings were just a fraction too small to take part in the Youngster Championship, Jury member Popke van der Meulen explained over the mike. But here too was an abundance of breeding type in combination with strong movement. Proclaimed Champion was the easy mover Gerbrecht van de Marne (Jehannes 484). Gerbrecht was bred by Douwe van Foeken and is in ownership of Hessel Jan Oosterhof from Denmark. Reserve Champion Yearling Mares was the classy Ilse fan Oostenburg (Alwin 469), owned by Arie de Hoek.
