Four Horses of Distinction

During a vote that was held from Jan. 1-Jan. 15, 2023 the membership voted on Norbert 444 from the list of 4 Horses of Distinction that included Sjaantje owned by Gail Aumiller, Riatta, IA owned by Cindy Davis, and Gypsy KCF owned by KCF Farms.

102 points from stallion calculator

During 2022 Norbert 444 received 102 points from our stallion calculator which looks at the horses results for the years inspections and assigns points to each 1st premium, IBOP Score, Ster, Crown, or Model and breeding’s from the year.

Wonderful offspring

Norbert 444 Sport Preferent AAA has been known for the wonderful offspring he has produced over the years and 2022 was no different in that respect when it comes to their accomplishments. It can be seen over and over again from the Stallion Show to the mare shows and from every Keuring that his offspring are presented. He is truly one of those rare stallions that come along, only once so many years, that has such the effect on the breed in which he has had.

Six sons, five permanent breeding approval

It started in January at the Stallion Show when three Norbert dams had their sons selected to go on to the Stallion Testing. Also, in 2022, two more of Norbert’s 6 approved sons, Menne 496 and Rommert 498 received permanent breeding approval joining Hessel 480, Hette 481 and Julius 486 who previously obtained their permanent breeding approval.

Feline in Hungary

In Hungary, Feline fan Stal Bellefleur Star AA was successful in the FEI Young Horse World Championships placing 8th at the World Championships. It was the first time a Friesian horse took part in this international competition.
In Mexico Norbert daughter Tite J. was awarded a 1st premium and champion at the La Capela Inspection.

Star and Crown mares

Norbert started the year off good in the United States with Marieke Van De Egberdina Hoeve Star Sport AA receiving a 1st premium and Day Champion in Hanford, California. At the US Keurings there was 15 more mares awarded the ster title with two 1st premiums and thirteen 2nd premiums. Two more mares received the crown and provisional crown titles. Young stallions where not left behind with 7 young Norbert stallions receiving the ster title. To finish the year off in the United States, at the Mare Show East, Tineke of Swan Lake (Norbert x Wierd) Provisional Crown took Youth Champion and Overall Reserve Champion.
