The Champion Title for older stallions at the 2023 KFPS Stallion Inspection in Leeuwarden is for Jurre 495. The four-times-over Overall Champion found himself in the company of Tymen 503 who made off with the Reserve Title.

Like clockwork
The battle for the Title was decided by four stallions. In addition to Jurre 495 and Tymen 503, stallions Alwin 469 and Nane 492 were also still in the game. The differences were small, according to Head of Jury Sabien Zwaga, with numbers three and four being close on the Champions’ heels. Yet, it was Jurre 495’s consistent performance, ‘who never lets you down’ and who moved around the ring ‘like clockwork’ that just gave him the edge over the ‘always youthful’ Tymen 503 with his wonderful outline. All this accompanied by the approving cheers and applause of the as ever very terribly involved audience.
