October 1, 2022

Elected Champion at the inspection in Hungary on Saturday the 1st of October was the 3-year-old Liza (Omer 493 x Aan 416). This mare owned by Sándor Szabó was accepted in the Studbook with a third premium. Liza should have a little more breeding type but demonstrated an active walk and trot with good balance, according to Jury member Manuel Gasseling.

Good job Take 455

At the fine national riding school in Budapest, the great interest for Friesian horses made for a well-filled grandstand. At the inspection there was a leading role for Studbook stallion Take 455 (Jakob 302 x Oltman 317), who returned to the Netherlands last spring after a three-year period of stud service in Hungary and is now stabled in the Bosma family’s yard. The 16-year-old Take 455 is the sire of both second-premium Foal Champions, who combined breeding type with good-quality legwork. In the filly foal category the Champion rosette went to Verona (Take 455 x Sytse 385), owned by Veronika Markó. In the colt foals the true-to-type Viktor Louis Voitton (Take 455 x Tsjalke 397), owned by Robert Gavló, became Champion.
