Longlined Ytske J.S (Epke 474) Champion 4- 6-year-old mares

On the Saturday afternoon of the Central Inspection 2019 the Champion Title 4- 6-year-old mares was awarded to the longlined, high-legged Ytske J.S. (Epke 474 x Lolke 371), in ownership of J.S. de Wolff from Blauwhuis. Preliminary Crown mare Ytske J.S. was flanked by Yfke (Beart 411 x Tsjalke 397), also Preliminary Crown and owned by C.J. van Orselen-Nilsson from Hellevoetsluis and bred by H. Hindriks in Hollandscheveld.

14 Finalists

As many as fourteen mares came into the ring for the Championship 4- to 6-year-old mares. Lining up in 3rd place after Ytske and Yfke was the youthful Zilke K.M. (Fonger 478), in foreign ownership of Rebecca Wildstein Marlborough, CT and bred by K.W. Mous from Hemelum. Zilke´s trot appeared slightly rushed but she managed to finish ahead of Trees van de Marne (Tsjalle 454), whose breeder/owner is Douwe van Foeken in Bolsward.
