For breeders looking for assistance with stallion choices, the KFPS provides the service of online breeding advice. This offers tailor-made advice to choose the best stallion for the mare.

Advice from the Breeding Council

The advice will be given by a representative from the KFPS Breeding Council, someone with knowledge about stallions and bloodlines and with experience in breeding. They include the mare’s specific features and characteristics as well as the breeder’s wish list for their stallion advice.

Photos, videos and wish list

For a good advice the breeder is asked to send in photos and preferably also some video footage. As well as a wish list indicating the mare keeper’s focus in terms of stallion choice.

Costs

The advice with substantiation will be returned online within around ten working days, offering a choice of three stallions. For KFPS members the advice costs € 40.-, for non-members € 60.- including VAT.
