In addition to the referred stallions there are two more stallions who are permitted to present themselves on Tuesday the 6th of September. On that day Kanne fan de Mersken Star (Ulbrân 502) and Krek Wak Wou v/d Drie Hoeves Star (Jurre 495) have the opportunity to yet secure a place in the 70-day test. One stallion had won a referral at first instance, but on account of a later established observation at the clinical inspection could not be accepted.
Start at 5 am
The first horses appeared in the ring in Exloo at 5 o’clock in the early morning. With the horses’ wellbeing in mind the decision was taken to start the Presentation Day at 5 am when temperatures were still relatively pleasant. Even though several stallion keepers joined a bit later, all presentations were completed by 10:30 am and the stallions could return to their cool stables before the heat became too intense.
